Pork Adobo

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • 4 small onions shallot chopped
  • 2 lbs pork belly sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 4 pcs bay leaves laurel
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Warm cooking pan using medium heat.
  • Add oil, garlic, and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add sliced pork belly. Stir and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Add water, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, ground black pepper and salt. Stir then place cover and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Remove cover. Stir and cook for another 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. It is fully cooked when sauce becomes thick.
  • Ready to serve.
