- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic crushed
- 4 small onions shallot chopped
- 2 lbs pork belly sliced
- 2 cups water
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 pcs bay leaves laurel
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Warm cooking pan using medium heat.
Add oil, garlic, and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
Add sliced pork belly. Stir and cook for 15 minutes.
Add water, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, ground black pepper and salt. Stir then place cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Remove cover. Stir and cook for another 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. It is fully cooked when sauce becomes thick.
Ready to serve.
