Spaghetti Carbonara


Spaghetti Carbonara
Ingredients
- 12 ounce spaghetti noodles (340 grams)
- 5 ounce Parmesan cheese (142 grams)
- 3 whole eggs extra large
- 4 cloves garlic diced
- 1/2 pound bacon sliced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot over high heat.
- In a medium bowl, crack and beat the eggs. Season with salt and pepper, whisk. Add parmesan cheese and mix together.
- Add pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente.
- While pasta is cooking, turn on another burner. Pre-heat the large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon and cook until golden brown. Remove about half of oil from bacon, add garlic, and then sauté.
- Take the hot pasta and add it to the mixture in the large skillet, stir.
- Add cheese mixture and put additional hot pasta water as needed for creaminess, stir.
