Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounce spaghetti noodles (340 grams)
  • 5 ounce Parmesan cheese (142 grams)
  • 3 whole eggs extra large
  • 4 cloves garlic diced
  • 1/2 pound bacon sliced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper ground

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a large pot over high heat.
  • In a medium bowl, crack and beat the eggs. Season with salt and pepper, whisk. Add parmesan cheese and mix together.
  • Add pasta to the boiling water and cook until al dente.
  • While pasta is cooking, turn on another burner. Pre-heat the large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon and cook until golden brown. Remove about half of oil from bacon, add garlic, and then sauté.
  • Take the hot pasta and add it to the mixture in the large skillet, stir.
  • Add cheese mixture and put additional hot pasta water as needed for creaminess, stir.
