Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 5 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 pc onion medium size chopped
  • 1 1/2 lbs pork belly chopped into small pieces
  • 2 pcs bay leaves
  • 2 cups cooking oil

Instructions
 

  • Pour water in a skillet, add salt, ground black pepper, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil then add pork belly, cook for another 45 minutes. Remove from skillet. Drain and let it cool down, add more salt to the meat if desired.
  • Heat oil in a large saucepan to 350 degrees F over medium heat.
  • Fry pork on each side until golden brown. When it is done, drain on a paper towel then cut into serving pieces.
