Pork Adobo
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic crushed
- 4 small onions shallot chopped
- 2 lbs pork belly sliced
- 2 cups water
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 pcs bay leaves laurel
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Warm cooking pan using medium heat.
- Add oil, garlic, and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
- Add sliced pork belly. Stir and cook for 15 minutes.
- Add water, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves, ground black pepper and salt. Stir then place cover and cook for 30 minutes.
- Remove cover. Stir and cook for another 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. It is fully cooked when sauce becomes thick.
- Ready to serve.
