Chicken Tinola

Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole chicken cut into bite pieces
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 whole onion small size
  • 1 piece ginger peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup papaya
  • 1 cup malunggay (moringa)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add the chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add water over the mixture, stir then cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Add the papaya, cover the pot and cook for another 20 minutes.
  • Add the malunggay (moringa), cover the pot and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
