Chicken Tinola
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken cut into bite pieces
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 whole onion small size
- 1 piece ginger peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup papaya
- 1 cup malunggay (moringa)
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and ginger. Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add water over the mixture, stir then cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes.
- Add the papaya, cover the pot and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Add the malunggay (moringa), cover the pot and cook for 3 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
