Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4 pcs potatoes peeled
- 3 cups water for boiling potatoes
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 pc cheese sliced
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Put potatoes in a pot and add water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender but still firm, about 30 minutes. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan, warm milk over medium heat. Add butter and cheese then cook until both butter and cheese are melted. Set aside.
- Carefully take potatoes from the pot and place it into a large bowl.
- Using a potato masher, smash potatoes then add milk mixture. Blend until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.
- Ready to serve.
