Chicken Tinola

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (2.5 lbs), chopped, remove unwanted fat & skin
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 6 cups water
- 2 small pieces chayote (sayote), chopped
- 1 piece ginger, sliced
- 5 heads bok choy, cleaned & trimmed
- 0.88 oz (25 g) Mama Sita's Tinola Ginger Soup Base Mix
Step-by-Step Directions
- Preheat cooking pan for 2 minutes using medium heat.
- Put olive oil, wait for 1 minute then;
- Add crushed garlic, cook for 2 minutes.
- Add sliced ginger, cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken, cook for 15 minutes, stir occasionally.
- Add water then cover, cook for 35 minutes.
- Add chayote, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add tinola mix then cover for 2 minutes.
- Add bok choy, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
