Ingredients
  

For the Stir Fry:

  • ½ lb broccoli cut into bite-sized florets
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped

For the Sauce:

  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, sesame oil, soy sauce, and water until smooth. Set aside.
  • Bring a small amount of water to a boil in a large skillet or wok. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir for about 30 seconds, being careful not to let it burn.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet with the garlic. Season with salt and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until the shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked.
  • Toss the chopped green onions into the skillet with the shrimp. Stir for 1 minute, then add the blanched broccoli back to the pan.
  • Stir the prepared sauce and pour it over the shrimp and broccoli. Mix well to coat everything evenly.
  • Let the stir fry simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken. Once everything is coated in the flavorful sauce, remove from heat. Serve immediately and enjoy!
