Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp creole seasoning
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup mustard
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¼ cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp, garlic powder, onion powder, Creole seasoning, pepper, mustard, hot sauce, and egg. Mix thoroughly and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  • Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until it reaches about 375°F.
  • In a separate bowl with a lid, mix all-purpose flour and cornstarch.
  • Transfer the marinated shrimp to the flour and cornstarch mixture. Cover and shake until the shrimp are well-coated.
  • Fry the shrimp in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
