Deviled Eggs are a delightful appetizer made by combining hard-boiled eggs with a creamy mixture of mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. The addition of a sprinkle of paprika and spring onions provides the perfect finishing touch.
Start by placing the eggs in boiling water and cooking them for approximately 10 minutes.
While the eggs are cooking, prepare an ice water bath and set it aside. Once the eggs are done, carefully remove them from the boiling water and transfer them to the ice water bath.
Allow the eggs to cool completely before peeling them. Once peeled, gently slice each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolk and transfer it to a small bowl using a spoon, while placing the empty egg whites on a plate.
Take a fork and mash the yolks until they are smooth. Add mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic paste, and salt to the bowl. Stir all the ingredients together until the mixture is well combined.
Use a spoon to scoop a portion of the deviled egg mixture and fill each egg white. For a finishing touch, garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and finely chopped spring onions.
