Cheeseburger sliders are delicious and convenient twist on the classic American burger. These mouth-watering mini burgers consist of a juicy beef patty, melted cheese, and various toppings sandwiched between two soft slider buns.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Halve the buns and arrange the bottom halves on the sheet. Set the sliced cheese on top of the buns and put them aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic, cooking for about 2 minutes until aromatic.
Add 2 pounds of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with 1 teaspoon each of salt, black pepper, and parsley flakes. Stir in mayonnaise and cook until the beef is fully cooked, then remove from heat.
Spread the ground beef mixture evenly over the cheese-covered buns, using the spatula to neaten the edges. Top with 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese.
Place the top halves of the buns, cut-side down, over the beef. Brush the tops with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the tops are golden brown.
