Ingredients
  

  • lbs bok choy
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1 small ginger cut into strips
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • a pinch of salt to taste
  • ground black pepper

For the Sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Bok Choy

  • Thoroughly wash and dry the bok choy. Separate the leaves from the stalks.

Step 2: Cook the Bok Choy Stir Fry

  • Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  • Add sliced garlic and ginger, stirring until fragrant (about a minute).
  • Add bok choy stalks and cook for about three minutes until they start to soften.
  • Mix in bok choy leaves. Sprinkle sugar, salt, and pepper on top. Continue cooking until the leaves wilt (about two more minutes).
  • Remove from heat and transfer to a plate.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, combine oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and water. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Dress vegetables with prepared sauce mixture.

Step 4: Serve!

  • Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
