Ingredients
  

  • 350 grams chicken breast cut into strips
  • 500 grams asparagus
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 stalks green onion chopped

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken breast into strips. Place in a large mixing bowl then add salt, black pepper, and corn starch. Mix well.
  • In a wok or large skillet, heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken and fry for 4 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Add the garlic and asparagus. Stir then cover and cook for another 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp water, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp honey, and 1 tsp brown sugar. Set aside.
  • Add 2 stalks green onion into the wok then pour the sauce and stir to coat the chicken and asparagus evenly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve the Teriyaki Chicken and Asparagus Stir-Fry over rice or noodles!
