Mozzarella sticks are cheese coated in flour, eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs, then deep fried until golden brown and crispy. It is one of America's favorite cheesy snacks!

1 lb mozzarella cheese cut into strips 1 cup bread crumbs 2 eggs 2 tbsp water ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp ground black pepper ½ cup all-purpose flour 2 cups vegetable oil
Cut the mozzarella cheese into strips.
Beat the eggs and water together.
Dredge the stick with flour, then dip in egg and then roll it into bread crumbs.
Dredge the stick in egg and bread crumbs again.
Freeze for 6 to 12 hours before frying.
Heat oil in medium skillet over medium heat. Cook 4 sticks at a time for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove sticks from heat and drain on paper towels.
Serve with sauce for dipping if desired.
