1½ lbs shrimp tail on, cleaned and deveined 100 g cheez it crackers crumbled 1 tbsp vegetable oil 2 tbsp butter salted 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper ½ tsp paprika 1 tbsp cornstarch
In a medium bowl, crack and beat the egg.
Add the shrimp, salt, pepper, paprika, cornstarch and crumbled cheez it crackers. Mix them together to coat shrimp.
In a large frying pan, heat the cooking oil and butter.
Fry shrimp in batches until cooked through, approximately 3 minutes on each side.
Use tongs to transfer the cooked shrimp to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat the process to cook the remaining shrimp.
Arrange the shrimp on a platter and serve.
