Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 can 7 up
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 small lemon

Basting Sauce

  • 1/2 bottle banana ketchup 12 oz (340g)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Combine pork, soy sauce, 7 up, brown sugar, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix these ingredients thoroughly.
  • Marinate pork for at least 1 hour or longer, overnight is fine.
  • Skewer pork on a bamboo stick.
  • Make basting sauce by combining banana ketchup, vinegar, and olive oil on a separate bowl.
  • Preheat the grill for 5 minutes using medium high heat.
  • Put skewered pork on the grill. Flip every 3 minutes and baste barbecue sauce occasionally to keep the pork moist.
  • Barbecue is ready when pork starts to sizzle and the sauce has caramelized.
